It's so weird...we've been here so long, I can't even keep track of what day it is.... Anyway, it's Saturday night and we had another good day. Lots of the usual things on the agenda...but some highlights include:
**Playing Chase on the Playground---whew! He is keeping us in shape while we are here!
**Singing "Jesus Loves Me" with Mama and Papa--Yes! He has already learned the chorus!
**Getting treats from the hotel staff and guests--He's quite a schmoozer! (Is that a word?)
Anyway, we're having fun.
Today, we met a few new adoptive families who are in the hotel. This place is always hoppin' with adoptive families and kids. It's fun to share stories and to get to know these families. Some of you have asked if we were upgraded to a suite. Unfortunately, we were not. There are so many people in the hotel and if a suite becomes available, we can be upgraded. Unfortunately, there are no suites available for us. Therefore, we are in a regular room with a fridge and a microwave. We are making the majority of our meals in our room. We have been eating sandwiches, chips, fruit, ramen noodles (lots of ramen noodles!), oatmeal, milk, juice, and yogurt. Once in a while, we treat ourselves at the hotel restaurant for some tastier food. We are simply trying to keep the costs down...so therefore, we are cooking "microwave-style" most often.
The most important thing is that our bonding is going well and we are enjoying our stay. We are starting to get really "antsy" to head home, though. We are hoping the next several days go fast. Once we are on our way to Moscow, we'll feel as though the end is near.
Please watch our blog in the next few days. On Tuesday, we can post pictures of Trey....so we will be excited to show him to all of you.

Thank you so much for taking the pictures for us. We arrived home safely in LA with Hannah and she is doing great. Hannah was fine on the airplane and when she saw her new bedroom, all she could say was "WOW!!!" That seems to be her new catchword for all of the new things she has seen including the beach, the supermarket and the cats and dogs. Funny story, when we got out of the baggage claim area at LAX and were walking out to the lobby, where folks were lining the rails, holding signs, waiting for the people they were picking up etc, Hannah walked up the ramp, smiling and waving at the crowd saying "Hello... Hello" it was like she was walking the red carpet at the Oscars. It was really really funny. Again, thank you so much for helping us with the pictures and it was really nice to meet you. I'm sure that Trey will do great on the way back to your home.

Hi! Congratulations on your new son! We were in Vladivostok last summer. Boy, do I remember how long those 10 days were! We didn't have our son during the wait so it seemed like FOREVER, especially the weekends! Have a safe trip home.
Glad to hear things are going so well with the bonding and communication. Although time seems to be moving slow from your perspective, it sounds as if you are really managing things!
